1991..Brian/Bryon The Wildebeest used to JUMP to this back in the night to this tune back 1991 in High Wycombe back at the after parties after a night at CLUB X!!! And rightly damn so ... I would see him from the other side of the dancefloor and if we ALL knew it was a fucking cracking track he would BOOM "PUMP PUMP! " And then you would dance that little bit more intense with love!!!

Back in the day... Pirate radio on, Fire When Ready was one of the first tracks around to use (combine) breakbeat & a ragga sample really well. A taste of things to come with jungle sounds coming in...

A dark heavy sound but still funky enough & very different from the majority of releases around at the time.

To make things current... I heard it at London's Notting Hill Carnival in 2019. Respect to that DJ.

proto-JUNGLE - post UK hip-hop - with it's breakbeats and ragga vibes - this is UK hardcore -- a landmark release for '91.

Classic early breakbeat track with a ragga vocal loop over the top. You can tell that whoever programmed this track came from a hip hop background - much like the Genaside II massive this guy was (I think) affiliated with. Pretty dark and none the worse for that.
