This music sites on the borderline between documentation and the fictional landscapes of my imagination. That is why I call it 'music'. It is certainly not an accurate aural description of the places where the sounds were collected - in the wilderness things are generally quieter and infinitely more subtle. With electronics however, many of these intricacies can be made available and the sounds collected over days compressed into a 'listenable' portrait. I can only hope it will encourage people to go and discover for themselves the mysterious harmony that is wilderness.
