Mine still smells faintly of strawberries after all these years :)

I think the 'strawberry insert' was possibly the best thing about this release...after coming back with 'Machine Gun Etiquette', 'Black album' & various top quality 7" releases this I feel was a real drop in quality..Dozen girls & Generals being possibly their weakest ever singles?..inevitably followed by more changes of record label, line ups, side projects etc...

Well, ok.... sorry, but when does that shit becomes "Goth"?

Goth is generally shit. The Damned are waaayyyy beyond that. Since you asked

Back in 1982 i couldn't understand. We were all between hardcore and goth. What's this kind of music? neither electro dark nor neo psichedelic.. yes i secretely liked it, but in those years i'd never sayd that this is the best album never done by the damned during their long carrier.. they gave us strawberries but we were too pigs to appreciate! I hope some young guys could hear this record and love it. A masterpiece

I can say that I'm a young guy and I'm in love with this record. It's amazing, and extremely catchy. I can't believe I didn't discover this sooner.
