Can anyone report the pressing quality of the black version? Some have been reporting issues with the red version. Any info would be great! Thanks!
I have the black version. My copy is noisy on the B-side track 3 onwards.
My pressing (this black version), which I bought the other day, is one of the quietest and flattest pieces of vinyl I have. Highly recommended.
I've noticed the same with my A side, quite a few pops on there. The B side is better though.
Ended up getting the colored version (only version my record store had). Very happy with the pressing. It seems to be a total luck of the drawl. Sorry to all those who have had issues with their pressing. Aside from the pressing issues, this is easily one of my favorite Tycho releases.
I hold the standard black version. No issues on this pressing whatsoever.
I bought the black version also. Contrary to what most people are saying, my copies A side is riddled with pops and not the Bside. What makes it worse is, they mostly sound off during decrescendo and quiet points of the tracks. Very very disappointing. Really poor pressing IMO. The B side isn't all that bad.
My issue is with the black pressing does not sound good on side B. I may need to grab another copy but getting harsh noise in the left channel on a few tracks.
i haven't heard any issues concerning pops and crackles with my copy. it sounds just fine
I got the black version. The quality is very good, but with a few pops on one of the tracks on A side for me.
